COOK LIKE A CHEF WHEN CAMPING !

This year, we launch the #cookingsetchallenge ! How does it work ? Just use your cooking set when you go camping and then post photos and recipes on Instagram ! Don't hesitate to be creative ;)

Here are 3 mountain recipes to inspire you and to give you some ideas of star-filled recipes to cook before or after your hike :

Decathlon

WOOD GARLIC SALAD

CROZIFLETTE

FOR 2 PEOPLE
1 mozzarella di Bufala
1 cucumber
2 tomatoes
6/8 radishes
wild garlic
olive oil
balsamic vinegar

METHOD
1. Rinse all of the ingredients, using the saucepan and its colander lid.
2. Cut the vegetables into strips and arrange them on to the plates.
3. Cut the mozzarella in 2 and place each half on to the plates.
4. Season with a drizzle of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a pinch of wild garlic

Well that was easy ! We are sure you'll be surprised by the taste and health benefits of wild garlic ;)

CROZIFLETTE

CROZIFLETTE

FOR 2 PEOPLE
350g organic buckwheat crozets (local mountain pasta)
1 onion
200g plain or smoked bacon bits, depending on what you prefer
150g Tome (local mountain cheese) or any other hard cheese
1 egg
pepper
chives

METHOD
1. Fill up the saucepan with cold water, leave to boil, then add the pasta and cook for 15 minutes.
2. In the frying pan, fry up the onion, cut finely, with the bacon bits.
3. When the pasta is cooked, drain and add to the bacon bits and onion. Add fine strips of cheese and stir.
4. Season to your liking, add the yolk of one egg and the chopped chives and ... Enjoy !

After a hike with an elevation difference of 1200m, this will be a well-deserved feast !

BLUEBERRY PANCAKES

CROZIFLETTE

FOR 2 PEOPLE
1 and a 1/2 glasses of flour
1 glass of milk
1 egg
35g dried blueberries
3 tbsp oat flakes
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder

METHOD
1. Put the flour, oat flakes, sugar and yeast into a tightly sealed receptacle.
2. Add milk, whisked egg and the blueberries. Close the receptacle and shake !
3. Cook each pancake 1 - 2 minutes on each side.

Add a drizzle of mountain honey and a few orange segments for a rich in vitamin pre-hike breakfast !
