We have developed this system to make your life easier, there is one small adjustment to make, we explain how!
You are the owner of a pole with an external lock, congratulations! Before setting off for a trek, press down on your pole.
If your pole tends to slide down and that the sections slide one into the other, your external lock needs to be adjusted.
Let's go! Open the lever and tighten the screw wheel by hand, first 1/4 of a turn then close the lever.
You will feel that the lever is harder to close and the section slides less.
Continue a 1/4 of a turn at the time until the lock completely stops the section from sliding once the lever is closed.
If the lever is too hard to fold down, untighten the screw wheel slightly.
When adjusting the length, do not go beyond the stop line as pictured above. Beyond this limit the pole could snap while in use and you may be injured.
