OUR COMMITMENTS

We are aware that we must act to preserve our playground. This is why Quechua is committed to reduce the environmental impact of its products and to support associations of women and men who commit themselves every day to a more sustainable world.

Discover on this page the commitments we make at Quechua for our people and planet.

THE ROOTS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AT QUECHUA

To meet our commitments related to climate issues, we have a responsibility to act, and to act quickly! We started our environmental initiatives more than 10 years ago by launching our first recycled fleece. Our eco-design approach meets specific criteria that are reviewed each year. In 2021, 159 Quechua products are eco-designed. In parallel with ecodesign, we also work on the entire product life cycle by developing services around product repair and recovery.

On the way to 2026

TOGETHER, LET'S TAKE CARE OF OUR IMPACT

Our mission is to propose an 100% ecodesigned product range by 2026. This objective flows from our 2020-2026 Transition Plan. To meet this requirement, we are developing new production methods and imagining innovative solutions to create technical and durable products. AND SUPPORT THE SOLUTIONS OF TOMORROW

Our mission at Quechua is to make hiking and camping accessible to the many, and to make it a vector of integration as well as a means of access to nature. Today, in addition to the environmental actions that we undertake, we are proud to engage with associations that work for the protection and knowledge of our environment. IN TOTAL TRANSPARENCY

Where are our products made? By whom and under what conditions? What are our commitments? We know that our production methods could raise questions.
This is why we have opted to be totally open: at Decathlon, we design our products, from the beginning of the project through to its production.

Committed to suppliers whom we carefully select for their social and environmental commitments, we share a common objective: to offer you products with the best quality/value ratio.

Thanks to regular audits carried out at our suppliers, we ensure that employees benefit from a quality work environment based on respect, the fulfillment of those people and the preservation of the environment.
